Reciprocal Care
In our sermon series, "Chelten’s DNA," we explore who we are as a church and why it matters. We don’t exist for ourselves. We exist to worship the Triune God (upward), to nurture each other in truth and love (inward), and to share the good news of Jesus Christ (outward). Turning to 2 Corinthians, Pastor Bill speaks about Chelten’s mission of nurturing God’s family. The Apostle Paul told the church in Corinth that God is the God of all comfort. For all of our troubles, pain, and suffering, God gives true comfort, encouragement, and care. With the comfort and encouragement we receive from him, we are then equipped to do the same for others. Only when we have experienced God’s comfort can we encourage someone else. This three dimensional display of comfort is part of our DNA as Christians.
