In preparation for the Maundy Thursday service, we want to encourage you to fast for 24 hours starting on Wednesday evening. You may fast from food or from any number of other good things such as social media, your phone—anything that if you gave it up would quickly make its absence known.

So if you are physically able, skip dinner (or go minimal) on Wednesday evening and then we will break our fast together at the communion table during the Maundy Thursday service. We encourage you to go to dinner with friends or family after the service. There is nothing greater than having communion when you are hungry and then feasting together afterward!

But if you are unable to fast, please still come to Maundy Thursday. All are welcome!
