Ordination Celebration

You are invited to join us for the ordination of Pastor Jon Shepherd on Sunday, November 7, at 6 pm at Chelten. We will celebrate God’s calling in his life through worship and with God’s Word. A love offering will be received during the service. A reception will be held after the ordination service in the Fellowship Hall. This service is a family-friendly event. It will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.

Join us on Sunday, November 7, 10:20 a.m. in Fellowship HallValerie serves as the New York City Area Director for ISI. Her current role includes outreach and discipleship among international students, as well as training and oversight of volunteers and staff members. She desires to connect missional believers with opportunities to serve and reach international students.

Debbie Murphy
Join us on Sunday, November 21, 10:20 a.m. in Fellowship HallDebbie has worked with Crossworld in Puebla, Mexico, for 14 years. She made a short-term transition (about 2 years) to Guatemala, to work with her parents at the Guatemala Bible Seminary, helping in the Missions Department among other things. She still teaches the first 6 introductory lessons for an email discipleship course with a website called ObreroFiel.com. She hopes to make regular visits to Puebla with the intention of returning in the future as the Lord leads.

On Wednesday, November 24, at 7:00 p.m. our Chelten family will gather together to remember all the great things God has done in our lives this year. We will sing together, hear the Word proclaimed, and share our stories with one another. Let us praise Him together! Come prepared to share God’s goodness in your life.

December 4 at 10am

Ladies, join us on Saturday, December 4 at 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall for a time of Christmas Cheer! Wear your Christmassy-fun clothes. We will have a super cute and fun craft that anyone can do with prizes, laughter, food, and fellowship. Bring a friend, or a neighbor and join the fun! Tickets are $10 and need to be purchased in advance.

It’s BACK! The Saturday Morning Men’s Breakfast Speakers Series! Join us Saturday, November 13 at 7:30 AM for a hot breakfast buffet and a lively talk given by our own David Grau. They say that attorneys are like rhinoceroses: thick-skinned, short-sighted, and always ready to charge… But not our David Grau! Come listen to David’s stories and be encouraged by his message, Life Lessons I Have Learned As A Christian Lawyer.
