Discussion Questions:
- What does it cost to follow Christ in your life? Count the cost. Share.
- If it doesn’t cost you to follow Christ, examine yourself. Are you living a courageous and obedient life before God? If not, what are you afraid of?
- Think and dwell on “Immanuel,” which means God is with us, and discuss how it calms your fear.

Manger Project
This year, you are invited to pick up a manger kit which will include scripture readings and some activity ideas each week. The scripture will follow the text that the pastors are be preaching from each week. As a family, you will build a manger and place it either somewhere in your home or front yard. Each week your family will be invited to fill the manger with items to be donated to a local ministry.
The Deaconesses would like to invite you to Carols by the Campfire. Come, Relax, Rejoice with family and friends, singing Christmas carols around the campfire. The event will be held on Saturday, December 12, 4:30-5:30 in the Chelten parking lot. Bring your chair and blanket. We’ll supply a cup of hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. Lift up your voice and sing as together we celebrate the gift of God’s love!

If you would like a Christmas poinsettia placed in honor or loving memory of someone, please sign-up below. Or take an envelope and place it in the offering box or return it to the church office by Monday, December 14.
