Sunday Worship Service 11.1.2020
Discussion Questions:
- How do you respond when interruption and delay happen in your life?
- What is your greatest fear? Will you predetermine to trust Jesus even when your greatest fear is realized?
Thank You from the Pastors
Over the month of October, we have received countless text messages, emails, letters and cards from you expressing your appreciation and love for us. Thank you for your kindness and love. We are so grateful for you and the opportunity to serve you as your pastors. We were so encouraged to hear that you are praying for us. That means a great deal to us as we depend on the Lord to lead Chelten. Please continue to pray for us and with us. You are a blessing to us.
Your Chelten Pastors
Join us in setting aside Monday, November 2 for a day of fasting and prayer on behalf of our country, the election, COVID and the many others needs of our country and communities. Whether you refrain from food, technology or something else, for the whole day or only part of the day, fasting reminds our whole body that we need the Lord more than we need the food we eat. May the groan of our stomach be the voice of our desperation as we pray.
Pastor Neil Kulp will be retiring from his ministry at Chelten on December 31, 2020. Neil and Jackie have served the church faithfully for many years and their ministry has been appreciated by so many of us. A Farewell/Retirement Celebration is planned for Sunday, November 15 at 4:00pm. The celebration will take place in the Worship Center. Wearing a face mask will be required.
Similar to Sunday worship services, registration will be required to attend the celebration in person.
We look forward to this special time together to celebrate Neil and Jackie, and to show them how much they are loved and appreciated!
Because of current COVID restrictions and limited seating, the event will be live streamed and will also be available for viewing on YouTube after the 15th.
