Discussion Questions:

  • Have you experienced how “duty turns into delight” as you obey the will of God in your life? How do you discipline yourself moving from imposing your will to obedience?
  • What does your repentance look like in your life? Do you struggle with “self-flagellant” repentance? Discuss, “God’s forgiveness is neither found in the depth of your repentance nor in your future merit, but in Jesus who died for your sin on the cross.”

Worship Song Set:

Lord I Need You

Reckless Love

I Will Not Fear

Hosanna – Praise Is Rising

Pastor Neil Kulp will be retiring from his ministry at Chelten on December 31, 2020. Neil and Jackie have served the church faithfully for many years and their ministry has been appreciated by so many of us. A Farewell/Retirement Celebration is planned for Sunday, November 15 at 4:00pm. The celebration will take place in the Worship Center. Wearing a face mask will be required.

Similar to Sunday worship services, registration will be required to attend the celebration in person.

We look forward to this special time together to celebrate Neil and Jackie, and to show them how much they are loved and appreciated!

Because of current COVID restrictions and limited seating, the event will be live streamed and will also be available for viewing on YouTube after the 15th.

Join us for a kid-friendly, VBS-like family worship time at 4:30pm. It will last about 30-45 minutes and is geared for kids to worship the way God made them with wiggles and giggles. Bring your blankets, your Bibles, and be ready to move! Our content will reflect a different focus as we desire parents to continue training and discipling their children in our Sunday morning worship service.
